This is an original 1893 halftone print of the Minnesota Building at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. The architect was William Channing Whitney, of Minneapolis. The statue at the entrance represented Hiawatha bearing Minnehaha "over wide and rushing rivers." The sculptor was Jacob Fjielde.
