On the shield a faded stipple engraving can still be seen. The handles are heavy and solid and in excellent condition. The handles are not inspected. The steel blade is provided with the initials PHE or PHF. Probably a piece of home industry. Furthermore, a handle is provided with the initials IW. The fork was added later.
